LEI Kode ApS is a Danish data processing company that specializes in processing and disseminating information in connection with LEI (Legal Entity Identifier) registrations on behalf of companies or legal entities. LEI registrations are handled by GLEIF (Global Legal Entity Identifier Foundation), which is a supranational non-profit organization headquartered in Basel. The issuing of LEI codes, on behalf of GLEIF, is done by accredited LOU (Local Operating Units).

LEI Kode ApS is independent and thus uses several GLEIF accredited LOUs for the issuance, renewal and maintenance of LEI codes.

LEI Kode ApS processes and disseminates LEI registration applications on behalf of the applicant company or legal entity.

LEI Kode ApS offers registration and maintenance, and any. automatic renewal of LEI codes on behalf of the applicant company or legal entity.

Upon acceptance of the terms and conditions, the applicant business or legal entity accepts that LEI Kode ApS, on behalf of the applicant business or legal entity, has authorization (power of attorney) to perform the registration and maintenance of LEI codes with a LEI issuing LOU . The applicant business or legal entity also accepts that LEI Kode ApS is authorized to create, maintain, renew and transfer the applicant's or legal entity's LEI number to another LOU, if this does not incur costs to the applicant business or legal entity .

The current and current registration fee is $59. This fee covers initial registration and creation of a LEI code as well as maintenance and changes to the registration for a period of 12 months from the date of issue.

The amount is payable by bank transfer to LEI Kode ApS bank connection, the information appears on the invoice that the LEI applicant company or legal entity receives when ordering. The application process will not start until we have registered the payment.

LEI Kode ApS offers the LEI applicant business or legal entity to renew the LEI number after the expiry of the 12-month period. The price for renewal of a LEI number is currently $55.

If the LEI registration is not renewed, the LEI number automatically expires after 12 months. LEI Kode ApS will reserve the right to contact the LEI applicant company or legal entity, approx. 2 months before the expiry of the LEI number with a renewal reminder. The contact will be made via the email address provided in connection with the creation.

Responsibilities and obligations of the LEI applicant business or legal entity

The LEI applicant company or legal entity guarantees that all information provided to LEI Kode ApS is accurate and up to date. If incorrect or outdated information is provided, LEI Kode ApS disclaims all liability for delays in the validation process of the LEI issuing LOU due to missing or incorrect information. Likewise, LEI Kode ApS disclaims responsibility for costs associated with failure to report changes to the entity or company (corporate actions) that may impact the maintenance of the LEI number.

The LEI applicant company or legal entity accepts that it is obliged to report all relevant changes as soon as possible. Relevant changes are all changes to the information provided to LEI Code Aps in connection with the initial LEI application. If the LEI applicant company or legal entity does not report relevant changes on an ongoing basis, LEI Kode ApS disclaims any responsibility for financial or legal consequences of the failure to report. The LEI applicant company or legal entity is required to update contact information so that LEI Kode ApS has the opportunity to make contact.

The registrant, ie. the natural person making the application for the LEI applicant business or legal entity indicates that it is authorized and authorized to make the LEI application on behalf of the LEI applicant business or legal entity. If the registrant is not eligible for subscription to the company or legal entity, the registrant acknowledges having the necessary documentation (proxy) available from the company or legal entity. LEI Kode ApS reserves the right to request this documentation where it is deemed necessary.

LEI Kode ApS reserves the right to request additional documentation should any third party register for the LEI applicant business or legal entity.

The registrant is obliged to ensure that the LEI application is unambiguous, ie. that no LEI code has already been applied for to the same entity or company. If the LEI applicant company or legal entity already holds a valid LEI code, the application will be rejected by the respective LOU. In this case, LEI Kode ApS will reserve the right to continue to charge the fee to cover the costs of processing the application.

LEI Kode ApS will encourage the registrant to use the following search box (Seach LEI Records) to double check whether the LEI applicant entity or company has already been issued a valid LEI code: https://www.gleif.com

LEI Kode ApS verifies and validates that information provided by the registrant is adequate for the subsequent processing by the individual LOU.

LEI Kode ApS will contact the registrant if the application is incomplete in order to obtain additional information that can complete the application.

LEI Kode ApS will make reasonable efforts to investigate whether the LEI applicant entity or company has not previously been issued a LEI code.

LEI Kode ApS will contact the registrant no later than 2 months before the expiry of the LEI code of the LEI applicant entity or company if the previous application was NOT set to automatic renewal (subscription). The LEI applicant entity must no later than one month before automatic subscription renewal cancel this by email to info@leicode.com

Current terms and conditions are subject to change without notice. The applicable terms and conditions can be found under the Terms and Conditions on the company's website. Significant changes will be communicated to the registered email address provided by the registrant. Under normal circumstances, the LEI applicant entity or company should expect a total processing time of 4-12 business days from the application is submitted until a valid LEI code can be submitted. The LEI applicant company or legal entity accepts that under special circumstances it may take up to 30 days before the application is finalized and a valid LEI code can be submitted.

The LEI applicant entity or company accepts that there is no cancellation right after the application is submitted and paid. LEI Kode ApS is under no obligation to refund any fees paid if the LEI applicant or legal entity cancels after payment of the fee has been made.

Publicly available data

The registrant accepts that information provided to LEI Kode ApS in connection with the creation of a LEI registration will be disclosed and published on the GLEIF website.
